Bonnie Juanita Duncan

Bonnie Juanita Duncan, 102, of Lubbock, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, December 23, 2016. Ms. Duncan was born on October 12, 1914 in Lone Oak, TX to the late James Preston and Ella Elizabeth (Terry) Lowe. She married Samuel Ruben Duncan on September 19, 1932 in Greenville, TX. He preceded her in death on September 18, 1985.

Ms. Duncan enjoyed bible studying, dominoes, sewing and quilting. She also enjoyed watching football, golf, and visiting family in Greenville. Ms. Duncan was a caregiver for many years of her life. She was a member of Vandelia Church of Christ, and Trinity Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, sons; James Larry Duncan, Donald Eugene Duncan, and daughter; Doris Juanita (Duncan) Stalcup.

Those left to cherish Bonnie’s memory are her grandchildren; Joseph Stalcup, Cindy Walker and husband Terry, Angie Hester and husband Daryl, and Steve Duncan. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren; Jason, Jenny, Adam, Eric, Taylor, and great-great grandchildren; Clayton, Kaylee, Maddy, Cooper, Jack, and Samson. Ms. Duncan also leaves behind sister; Margie Rushing, and daughter in-law; Tommie Sue Duncan, and numerous nieces and nephews.
