Candy was born August 23, 1951 in Lubbock to Lonnie and Melva Maberry. She worked as an administrator for the city of Lubbock for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas McCarthy; son’s, Thomas McCarthy IV; Connor McCarthy; sister, Judy Nelson and her brother, Danny Maberry.
Memorial services will be 2:00PM Friday at St. John Newman Catholic Church in Lubbock.
