Carla Maxey Elliott, 77, passed away Saturday April 6, 2013 in Lubbock. She was born September 13, 1935 in Lubbock to Homer and Melba Maxey. Carla was a graduate of Lubbock High School and attended Texas Tech and had a long career as a nurse. She was devoted to her family, and an avid Texas Tech fan!
She is survived by one daughter, Lisa Elliott Moore and her husband Paul of Lubbock; 4 sons, Glen Elliott and his wife Janet of Midland, Doug Elliott and Ted Elliott both of Lubbock and Andy Elliott of Santa Monica, CA; and her sister Glenna Goodacre of Santa Fe New Mexico; grandchildren, Haley Meyer, Blake Moore, Kendra Leonard, Craig Elliott, Ryan Elliott, and Abby Elliott; 2 great grandchildren, Blaine Leonard Jr. and Mason Meyer.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 9 at 10:00 am in Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel.
