Carol Ann Goff

Carol Ann Goff, age 87, a devoted and loving wife, Nana, and sister peacefully passed in her sleep to her heavenly home May 25, 2025. She was born January 28, 1938 in the Duncan Flat Community to Homer and Eudelle (Yeates) Hughes.

Carol lived her life in Lubbock, TX after graduating as Valedictorian of her senior class at Patton Springs High School. She worked for Frontier Stamps while attending Texas Tech and later went to work as a fulltime bookkeeper working most of her career for builder, Cecil Jennings. In September, 1970 she married the love of her life, Floyd Goff. She and Floyd loved their granddaughters and it was the highlight of their day when they got to spend time with them. She loved to travel with Floyd to many countries, Carol also loved to cruise in later years. She loved to play bridge and Mahjong with her many dear friends, with whom she also traveled. She belongs to Monterey Baptist Church, loving her Sunday School Class for which she was a member for 51 years, finding great joy going to Sunday Lunch with them.

Carol was preceded in death by: Husband, Floyd, parents, Homer and Eudelle, brothers David, Oscar, and Horace, and one sister Regina Young.

She is survived by brothers Mickey, Dickie (Brenda), sisters, Cherrie (Kelly), Deborah (Layne) and one daughter, Linda (Goff) Crawford, (David), Granddaughters, Courtney Crawford, Amanda Wright (Lance), and great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Kathryn, and Emma Braddock, Logan, Joshua and Elizabeth Wright.

Service will be Saturday, May 31, 2025, 1:00 PM at Monterey Baptist Church, Lubbock, TX, 3601 50th St, with Reverend Jim Brown officiating. Visitation will be Friday, May 30th from 5:00 – 7:00 at Resthaven Funeral Home, 5740 W 19th, Lubbock.

Serving as pallbearers are Travis Bland, Zachary Pate, Steve Hughes, James Hughes, John Pat Hughes, Chris Hughes and Randy Young.
