Dallas Ryan Luera

Dallas Ryan Luera was born March 6,1995 in Lubbock, Texas to Carlos and Tracie. He attended and graduated from Permian High School. He served in the Navy and lived in Destin, Florida, moved back to Odessa Texas, and recently relocated to Lubbock. Dallas spent most of his life working in the restaurant industry from server to manager. This fit so perfectly into his personality. He had a servant's heart and it showed in his work, whether offering a helping hand, or mentoring a new employee.

Dallas lived his life to the fullest and he didn’t bow to anyone; he lived his life on his terms. He was such a handsome person, with a beautiful soul. He always loved unconditionally and accepted you as you were. He never met a stranger; literally, he knew everyone. He was always there for you even when he couldn’t be there for himself. He was a bright and shining light in the darkness. His smile would make you and your whole heart smile. He would also be the one to tell you what you didn’t want to hear, especially if something didn’t look good on you. You knew you were getting a “You’re wearing that?” (with that face).

Dallas was so beloved by his family and friends. He was a kind and loving son and grandson; was the supporting and fun loving little brother; and an advice giving and living example big brother. He was the crazy, break all the rules uncle; beloved and cherished companion; and the most dependable, charismatic friend and hype man.

Dallas is survived by his parents: Kevin & Tracie McClaran; Carlos Luera and Marie Guerrero. His grandparents: Gary & Ernestine Mohon; Carlos Sr. & Raquel Luera; Monta Marshall. Great-grandparents: Jose & Nicolasa Montalvo. Sisters: Alexia Flores; Stefanie Bernal; Daniella Arballo; Charli Luera; Kenzie McClaran; Landin Luera. Brother: Kaleb Luera. Nieces: Everlie Gonzales and Yarelli Arballo. Nephews: Marcos Luera, Elijah Briones, Ryder Gonzales, and Rogelio Arballo. And many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Calling hours will be from 6-8 pm, Friday, January 24, 2025 at Resthaven Funeral Home.

Celebration of Life services will be held at 1 pm, Saturday, January 25, 2025 in the Abbey Chapel at Resthaven.
