Danny Lee Coleman

Danny Coleman, 77, of Wolfforth, TX, passed away on March 10th, 2025, at his home. We celebrate his determination to leave us on his terms and on his farm. He was born in Lubbock, TX, on January 11th, 1948. Danny graduated from Frenship High School and attended Texas Tech University.

He started farming alongside his father and brother while still in high school, which began his lifetime passion for farming. He married Patricia Beal on January 9th, 1971, in Corpus Christi, TX. He was a deeply devoted husband, father and farmer. Only his unwavering support of his children's numerous activities could entice him out of the fields.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wolfforth. Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Raimon and Edith Coleman, and his brother, Richard Coleman. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; daughters, Jenny Coleman and Jody (Chris) Hayes; son, Charley Coleman; grandchildren Coleman, Sterling and Preston Hayes; numerous nieces and a nephew.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home of Lubbock on Friday March the 14th from 5 – 7 pm. The family will have a private burial for Mr. Coleman.
