Domingo was born on February 27, 1935 in Gonzales, Tx to Rito and Castula Gonzales. He married his wife Socorro Gonzales and was a long time resident of Slaton and a long time member of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
He worked as a farmer and a welder for many years. He also built Gonzales Snowcones where he then worked alongside his wife at the Gonzales Snowcone stand which they established in 1973 in Slaton.
Domingo was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, brother and friend. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, working outdoors and traveling to San Juan. He also enjoyed being with family and friends and spending time with his wife at their store where they enjoyed serving and putting smiles on many faces.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers and 3 sisters; 3 grandchildren and his beautiful wife Socorro Diaz Gonzales. He is survived by his daughters: Mary Gonzalez of Lubbock, Adelina Perez of Slaton, Guadalupe Escobar and husband Steve of Slaton; sons: Jesse Gonzales and wife Sylvia, Frank Gonzales and wife Delores of Lubbock, Antonio Gonzales and wife Carolina, Pasqual Gonzales and wife Teresa of Slaton and Domingo Gonzales Jr. of Slaton; his brother Louis Gonzales of Lubbock; sisters Dominga Saenz of Lubbock and Alejandra Munoz of Slaton; 16 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 9 great- great grandchildren.
