Donnie Mike Hand

Donnie Mike Hand of Wolfforth passed away on June 22, 2010 at the age of 69. Donnie was born in 1941 to Alden and Jewel (Grubaugh) Hand in Clovis, New Mexico. He grew up in Clovis, NM and it was there were he met and married the love of his life Lynda Brown on July 7, 1966. Their marriage was to last almost 44 years. Donnie will always be remembered for his warm smile and caring attitude for his friends and family. He was a hard worker and with great pride he provided for his family. Donnie is preceded in death by his parents, brother Jerry Hand, father in law Harold Brown, and a sister in law Robbie Brown. The survivors he leaves behind to cherish his memories are his wife Lynda, daughters; Christy Hand, Teresa and husband Tom Osborne of Lubbock, TX grandchildren; Brittani Teague of Tulsa OK, Aric Teague of Lubbock, TX, Trey Osborne of Lamesa TX, mother in law Dora Brown of Roswell NM, and brothers; Gorman Hand, Lonnie Hand, Ronnie Hand, Wayne Brown, Gene Brown, and sisters; Goldie Hogan, Sarah Jane Sherlock, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. He will also be missed by many friends that loved him so very much. The memorial service for Donnie is 10 AM Tuesday June 29th at South Plains Church 1421 E. Cactus Dr. Levelland, TX 79336 with Pastor Eddie Trice officiating.
