Doris Anne (Carlock) McMillan 82 of Lubbock, Texas joined her Lord and Savior on October 3, 2018. Doris was the only child born to Jack and Ola Belle Carlock November, 13 1935 in Slaton, Texas. She met the love of her life Elwyn McMillan at age 15 and they were married October 4, 1954. Doris was a homemaker and spent her life caring and supporting others. She loved baking, sewing, playing the piano and the music of Jim Reeves.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents and husband in 2009. Doris is survived by one daughter Sharon Pigg and her husband Berry, grandson Mark Pigg and granddaughter Stephanie Pigg. The grandkids were the bright spot in her life.
The family would like to thank Sam West and the wonderful staff of Carillon. Lindsey and the staff of Accolade and the many friends who have provided their love and support.
Funeral Services will be under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home and Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Accolade Hospice 5201Indiana, Lubbock, TX 79413 or Carillon Foundation.
