Left to cherish his memory are five brothers; Guadalupe Soza Jr. of Lubbock, Arturo Gonzalez of Lubbock, Maximiano Gonzalez Sr. of Lubbock, David Gonzalez of Fort Worth, and Henry Colton Jr. of Lubbock. Three sisters, Nora Herrera of Burleson, Alice Gonzalez of Corpus Christi, and Berlinda Victoria Villarreal of Corpus Christi; two children; Crystal Colton of Corpus Christi, and Elijio Colton Jr. of Corpus Christi, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Elijio is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Victoria Colton, his grandparents, Elijio Garcia and Anita Garcia.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday February 19, 2022 in Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel with Rev. E.G. Lambright officiating. Interment will follow at Resthavens Memorial park.
