She was born in Crosbyton, Texas on October 28, 1951 to Marcario and Diamantina Antuna. She attended school in Ralls, TX and graduated in 1970. In 1974 she graduated from West Texas University in Canyon, TX with her B.A. On June 2, 1974 she married Eliseo Saenz, Jr. and was married for 36 years. She was employed by Northwest Texas Small Business Development Center Regional Network Texas Tech University as the manager of Budget and Finance.
She is survived by Her husband Eliseo Saenz, Jr. of Lubbock, son, Rev. Mace Saenz of Hereford, daughter Anais Saenz of Lubbock, brother, Augustine Antuna of Irving, two sisters, Rebecca Gonzalez of Ralls, and Sylvia Antuna of Lubbock, three grandchildren, Eden, Brock and Ashley Sanez.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 7, 2011 at 7pm at Pathway of the Cross Assembly of God and funeral services will be on Tuesday February 8, 2011 at 10am, also at Pathway of the Cross Assembly of God located at 3115 Cornell, burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park with Rev. Daniel Berlanga officiating.
