Francisco Olivares Jr. passed away peacefully at home on Saturday April 13, 2013. Francisco was born on May 15, 1936 in Laredo to Francisco and Celedonia Olivares. Francisco was a member of St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Petra. Those left to cherish his memory are 3 siblings, Maria, Augustina and Juan, 5 children, Juan (Nancy), Frank, Julian (Ana), Maria (Don) and Martin, 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Rosary will be recited Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel, Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church in Shallowater on Thursday April 18, 2013 at 10 a.m. with Father George Poonely officiating with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
