Guadalupe R Saenz, 63, went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday December 20, 2014 in Lubbock. He was born August 21, 1951 in Beeville, TX to Tomas and Eustacia Saenz. Guadalupe graduated from Lockney High School and worked for Coca Cola for over 25 years. He had been the pastor of the Spanish Church of God and a youth leader of the Royal Rangers a Templo El Buen Pastor Church.
Survivors include his son, Joshua of Lubbock; mother, Eustacia Saenz of Lubbock; sisters, Rafailita Telles and husband Noe and Mary Saenz both of Lubbock; brothers, Elias Saenz and wife Audrey of Artesia, NM, Carlos Saenz and wife Martha of Addison TX and Thomas Saenz of Lubbock; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be Friday December 26 from 5:30 to a 7 pm evening service at Templo El Buen Pastor Church, 1111 36 St., Lubbock. Funeral services will be Saturday Dec 27 at 10 AM in Templo El Buen Pastor Church followed by burial in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park. Resthaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
