Dr. Gwynne Little, 84, of Wolfforth, Texas passed away on December 7th, 2025 at University Medical Center. Gwynne was born in Alabama in 1941, to Betty and Dr. Gwynne Little. He received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry at the Medical College of Georgia. He moved to Lubbock, Texas to teach Biochemistry at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and to pursue a career in medical research. Gwynne was a devoted husband and father known for his generous and loving personality and ready wit. He had a lifelong love of working with his hands and was well-versed in numerous handicrafts. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed his weekly games with the senior league at the Lubbock Country Club. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Donnie, a sister, Nancy, two daughters, Mary and Sally, and three grandchildren, Rebecca, Jax, and Chris. He was predeceased by his parents, Betty and Gwynne, and by a sister, Susan. He was greatly loved and will be greatly missed. The family will not be holding a service.
