Services for Harold “Duff” Duff, Sr., 70, of Lubbock will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, September 13, 2010 in Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel. Interment with Masonic Rites will follow at Resthaven. “Duff” passed away on Wednesday, September 8th.
He was born on July 19, 1940 in Lockney, TX to Ollie H. and Doris Childers Duff. He graduated from Lubbock High School. He married Margaret Louise McCanless in 1956, and she preceded him in death in 1989. He married Pat O’Dell in Lubbock, in September 1990. He was a truck driver for Frito-Lay and Purina Mills for several years prior to him becoming a owner operator. He was employed by Edwards Mail service at the time of this death. He was a 32nd Degree Mason.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Duff.
Survivors include his wife, two sons, Steven W. Duff, of Lubbock, and James Taylor, of Dover, DE; one daughter, Tracey Edwards, of Lubbock; two sisters, Lethea Holmes of Wolfforth, and Linda Fisher of Prinston, TX; four grandsons, 3 granddaughters, and one great grandson.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, from 2-5 p.m.
