

Born August 23, 1926 in Wilson, Oklahoma to Tom S. and Alta Bell Landrum, his family moved to Shamrock, Texas soon after. He graduated from Shamrock High School in 1944.
He was the oldest son and was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret and brothers, Tom and Joe.
Harold was married 72 years to wife, Billie Ruth Darrow Landrum of Shamrock, Texas; together they raised four sons: Mark, Terry, Jerry and Randy Landrum.
The family made its start in Shamrock, Texas with stops in area Panhandle towns including Canyon, Texas and living in Lubbock since 1979.
Beginning work at an early age in the family-owned blacksmith shop, Harold was a gifted mechanic. He preferred the John Deere brand where he provided for his family while employed for area dealerships and the parent company. He had a passion for country music and played both fiddle and guitar.
Harold was a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church of Lubbock, Texas where he and wife, Billie attended the John Wesley Sunday School Class and church. Until he could no longer drive, he was a regular at Methodist’s Men and visited those in the local hospitals.
Survivors include wife, Billie Ruth Darrow Landrum; sons: Mark Landrum and wife, Billee of Amarillo, TX, Terry Landrum and wife, JoLynn of Brownwood, TX, Jerry Landrum and wife, Judy of Lantana, TX; and Randy Landrum of Lubbock, TX; nine grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren from Texas, Colorado and New York.
Private Services will be held. Memorial Service at later date.
