James Edward Griffin, age 75, of Lubbock, Texas, went to be with the Lord on June 1, 2015. He was born February 3, 1940 in Queen City, Texas. He worked for Perry Killman construction until he went into business for himself. He owned and operated James Griffin Construction Company for 19 years. He was a beloved husband, father, brother and Paw Paw. He had a love for music, outdoors and spending time with his family and church family at Bethany Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Lilly; brother, J.C.; and sister, Mary.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Rebecca Ann; son, David and his wife Becky; brother, Alvis; grandchildren, Sheila, Breanne, Jamie, Sarah, Tyler and J’Lynn; and great grandchildren, Makayla, Cassidy and Harrison.
