James started driving a truck at sixteen. He hauled watermelons to cattle. He served in the Army stationed in Korea. After James was discharged, he started driving an 18-wheeler, driving for Piggly Wiggly, TG&Y, and Walmart. He was also a Master Mason.
James (Jimmy) is survived by his wife of 66 years, June. Son David (Shawn) of Lubbock, Daughter, Rhonda (Steven or Smitty) Smith of Munday, TX. Son Frederick “Fred” (Yolanda) of Lubbock. Grandson, Zachary Parker. Five step granddaughters, eleven step great grandchildren, one step great-great grandson. One brother, Ronnie Parker of Conroe, Texas.
