Jeanette Howell

Jeanette Howell, our beloved Nana, died peacefully in Lubbock, TX on January 2, 2019, at 10:14 PM at the age of 80 surrounded by family.Jeanette is survived by her husband, Bob; sister Gloria McNeme, brother Carol and his wife Diane Wilson; daughter Teresa and her husband Carl Russell Jr., daughter Laura and her husband Mike Grace; her grandchildren Brandon Grace and his wife Valerie, Ashley Russell, Aimee Ray, Chad Russell and wife Tanya, Brandon Grace and wife Lindsey, and Shawn Grace; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She will be remembered by many.Jeanette was born on November 23, 1938, in Mount Pleasant, TX to Eugene and Nell Wilson. She married Bob Howell on July 19, 1957. After moving to Lubbock in 1970, Jeanette was a long time General Manager at the Lubbock Inn until she became the CFO of Lee Lewis Construction from where she retired.She treasured her family and friends, her garden, and was so proud of her great-grandchildren. She leaves a legacy of tenacity and kindness from a truly fulfilled life. She will be dearly missed.
