Jeroldine Ann Cox Walz went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 13, 2011. Funeral services will be held in her honor at Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Berry Tilley of Cornerstone Family Assembly of God Church officiating, burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Jeroldine was born in Hobbs, New Mexico on July 20, 1953. On August 10, 2001, Jeroldine married Peter Walz. She was employed by Lubbock Veteran’s Administration Clinic for 25 years.
She is survived by her husband Peter of Lubbock; mother Winona May Cox of Lubbock; one brother, Otho Jerold Cox, Jr and his wife Betty of Big Spring and three sisters, Sylvia Donnahoo and her husband Ronnie of Joinerville, Tx, Ava Jennings and her husband Jerry of Healdton, Ok and Nona Johnson and her husband Connie of Lubbock.
She was preceded in death by her father, Otho Jerold Cox.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to the American Cancer Treatment Centers of America, 2520 Elisha Ave, Zion , Illinois 60099 or to Cornerstone Family Assembly of God Church PO Box 98525 Lubbock, TX 79499.
