Joe had a no-nonsense personality that captured the hearts of many, and a straight-forward personality that was well respected. He was passionate about his life-long career in the trucking industry, and served proudly cross country and locally. Joe definitely was a fan of his Tech Raiders, the Dallas Cowboy, and the Texas Rangers. He enjoyed antique cars and drag racing in the earlier years; but his most proudest and memorable times were spent with his family. He cherished his family, and there was no greater joy than to be surrounded by their love.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents and numerous siblings. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife of 33 years, Gloria Duran; his 4 children; 4 grandchildren; 2 siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will be receiving guests on Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00p.m. Services will continue with a 10:00a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on Friday, August 13, 2021.
