Keith Snowden

He served in the US Merchant Marines from 1945-1947. He married Alta Marie Lay October 17, 1948 in Fisher County. The couple moved to Wolfforth in January 1948. Keith was a cotton farmer and enjoyed raising cattle. He was a member of the Lions Club, the Masonic Lodge in Wolfforth and Monterey Baptist Church in Lubbock. He loved to trout fish, especially in Red River, NM. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Don.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Alta Snowden of Wolfforth; Children, Mike Snowden of Lubbock; Diane Gililland of Lubbock; Gary Snowden and his wife Ruth of Lubbock; Grandchildren, Chad Gililland of Denver, CO; Chase Snowden of Fargo, ND; Matt Snowden of Lubbock; Crista Saunders of Roanoke, VA; Sheena Bauman and Jared Snowden both of Little Rock, AR; three great grandchildren one niece, Tina Snowden of New York City and one nephew, Lex Snowden of Panhandle, Texas.
