Leonard was born on April 15, 1923, in Spur, Texas, to the late Leonard Albert Grantham, Sr., and Mary Ruth (Brewster) Grantham. He married Ruby Wright on October 18, 1940, in Rule, Texas. She preceded him in death on March 15, 2004. Leonard enjoyed gardening and teaching God’s word. He lived and taught by Christian example. He was a devoted husband, dad, and granddad.
Those left to cherish his memories are: son, John Grantham of Lake Alan Henry; three grandchildren: Cinda and husband Steve Andrews of Fort Worth, John Grantham of Arlington; and Nikki and husband Kelly Robinson of Slaton; five great grandchildren: Cynthia, Michael, Kalaya, Autumn, and Payton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members that loved him dearly.
Memorials can be made to Slaton Meals on Wheels or a charity of choice.
