Lupe Servantez

He worked as a Supervisor over maintenance for Lubbock Airport for 16 years before he retired. He enjoyed fishing and visiting his nieces and nephews in Temple and Rockdale Texas. Lupe was a family man who loved his family very much.

Lupe is preceded in death by his wife Dora, son Rodney, daughter Sylvia, parents Cornelio and Teresa Servantez, brothers: Isabel, Frank and Lazaro, and sister Abandia.

He is survived by his daughters: Rosa Servantez, Cris Servantez, Mary Hernandez and husband David, Sylvia Marie Mesa and husband Ted; Sons: Rudy Servantez, John Servantez, Joel Servantez, Abel Servantez, Lester Servantez, Jeremy Servantez; sister Ernestine Lara; 25 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Lupe will be held on Friday May 31, 2019 from 5pm-7pm with a Rosary beginning at 7pm. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday June 1, 2019 at 11am at Resthaven Funeral Home in the Abbey Chapel.

No words can express our thanks and appreciation to Interim Hospice team, the doctors, nurses and aides in their care and devotion in caring for our Dad to make him feel better. Thank you all.
