Services for Mary Marceline (Marcie) Hacker, 84, of Lubbock will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Reshaven’s Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor Donovan Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Marcie died on October 23, 2012 in Lubbock.
She was born on March 6, 1928 in Champaign, Ill. She married Harold E Hacker on August 8, 1963 in Tucumcari, New Mexico. They later moved to Lubbock where they remained residents. Harold died October 23, 1990.
She was a receptionist/bookkeeper at the Lubbock Country Club from 1980-1995, when she retired.
Survivors include two daughters, Theresa Ellon Brooks of Claremore, Ok, Mary Louise White of Stedman, NC, one sister Mariam Lipkey and one brother Norman Bittorf, both of Melbourne, Fl, and four granddaughters and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Clifford and Roger Bittorf.
