She was a Licensed/Registered nurse for forty-seven years having an established career in the Texas area. She is long-remembered by physicians and staff for her dedication to work and service.
She enjoyed keeping an immaculate yard and loved growing beautiful roses. Mariam was committed to doing her best at everything she strived for.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Glenda Rocha of Grand Rapids, Minnesota; two daughters, Cynthia Rocha and spouse Miguel Castro, Lee Hernandez and spouse Robert, of Lubbock, Texas; seven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
