

Mary was born the youngest of 5 children to Arnold and Emma Clevenger December 7th, 1943 in Honey Grove, Texas.
At an early age, Mary new how to overcome diversity with a smile. She was diagnosed with polio at age 3 but that wasn't going to stop the indomitable spirit of "Sue", which was what she was called by loved ones and friends.
Through determination and heart, Mary proved the doctors wrong at every turn and kept showing the world she was not going to give up.
Her family moved to Shallowater Texas where Mary attended through High School and met Jeff D. Hardin, the local heartthrob but again her determination rose and she became the target for his affection, despite having to walk with the aid and the use of full leg braces wooden crutches, that did not slow her down in the least.
They were married in the winter of 1961. Her husband Jeff Hardin farmed throughout West Texas, Mary would later accept a position at Texas instrument assembling computer components. She had two children Pamela Hardin and "Little" Jeff D. hardin Jr.
As a wife and mother, nothing was going to dishearten the smile that had shown through all through her life. She was an avid lover of flowers, plants and anything that would brighten an area.
Through Divorce and the passing of Jeff D. hardin Sr in the spring of 2007, she managed her beautiful smile and still continued to move forward in a way only she knew how.
A loving person, wonderful singer and an avid Elvis Presley fan she had a voice that could make you stop in your tracks.
Mary Sue once again found love and was married to Ron Tindol, a retired Paralegal from Georgia. They stayed in Lubbock where the remaining years could be spent happily.
Mary Sue Tindol went home to her angelic family on Dec 31 2023. Once again proving she was determined and was not going to miss that last New Years Eve.
Mary was the last of her immediate family and was predeceased by her Father Arnold Clevenger, Her Mother Emma Clevenger, Sister "Millie" Martin, Brothers Calvin Clevenger, James Clevenger, and Arnold Mack Clevenger.
She is survived by her Husband Ron Tindol, Daughter Pamela Farmer, Son Jeff Hardin Jr. Numerous nieces and nephews that span from Texas to Maryland, 3 Grandaughters and 9 Great Grand Children.
