Michael Lester Gilpin

Michael, “Mike” to his friends, joined the United States Air Force in 1960, and married his beloved Carol in 1966.

Michael served in the Air Force for 24 years, and retired as a Master Sergeant. He loved auto racing, Ice hockey, Mel Brooks movies, God and his country. Above all he loved his family.

Survived by a grateful son, and many friends who were blessed to know a good and decent man.

Graveside Service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, May 7, 2021 at Resthaven Memorial Park with full military honors.
