Dee invited Jesus into his heart when he was 7 years old and was faithful in his Christian faith. He grew up in Lubbock and was involved in many activities. Dee was an Eagle Scout and an Order of the Arrow recipient. Dee lettered in baseball at Texas Tech. After Tech, Dee entered the modeling arena starting in Dallas, then to New York, then to Milan and Paris. Dee was very successful in this arena, being ranked one of the top models in the world in the 1980’s.
Dee then wrote movie scripts and produced a movie. His costars were Brian Keith and Ned Beatty (Dee and Brian became best friends). Dee then traveled the world because at his core, he was a free spirit.
Later in life, he was the caregiver for his parents in their final years of life.
Dee was an eternal optimist and saw the good in every person. It was a joy to share life with Dee.
Survivors include Jan Thetford (David), Sam Law (Julie), Tom Law (D’Linda), and lots of nieces and nephews.
