She married J.B. on June 18, 1941 and they enjoyed 43 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on August 26, 1984.
Naomi liked to cook, sew and garden. Her joy in life was playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also had a great love for animals. She loved many cats and dogs during her lifetime.
She is survived by her son, J.B. Cox Jr. and his wife Linda of Lorenzo, daughter Brenda McClure of St. Louis, daughter Patsy Dunlap and husband Don of Lubbock, and daughter Debbie Thomas-Still and husband Dan of Lubbock.
She will be missed by her 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, and 14 step great grandchildren.
