Naomi Lucille Hamilton, age 90 of The Manor Park Village, in Midland, TX passed away July 3, 2016. She was born in Ladonia, TX on December 12, 1925 to Johnny Martin Barber and Elvie Jane (Rolen) Barber.
Naomi married Joe Bill Hamilton on October 16, 1944. They made their home in Lubbock, where she had a career in nursing that spanned over 35 years with Methodist Hospital in Lubbock.
Naomi was passionate about reading and tending to her flower garden.
Naomi is survived by her two daughters, LaFreda Richardson (Ray) of Georgia, Euleta Sellers (Terry) of Tomball, TX; two sons, Elwyn Hamilton (Belinda) of Grandbury, TX, and Huelan Hamilton (Cindy) of Midland, TX; Grandchildren, Michael Richardson, Brad Hamilton, Brent Hamilton, Sharon Sellers, Paul Hamilton, Amy Zavala, Lisa Oglesby, Robbie Wallace and Cory Wallace, as well as 18 great-grandchildren.
Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings, Ruby Evelyn Coker, Dwayne Martin Barber, and Jonnie Marie O'Neal; and grandchildren, LaShawn Richardson and Patrick Sellers.
