Nora Jo Bentley

Nora Jo Bentley,73, of Lubbock passed away March 17, 2016. Nora was born October 30, 1942 in Lubbock to parents J.L. and Ruby Alene (McKinney) Glasson. She loved all animals and was an avid Red Raider fan.

Nora is survived by her husband, Duane Bentley of Lubbock; children, Laura Boling of Lubbock, Mark and Susan McNeece of Phoenix, Marlowe and Glenda Bentley of Houston; grandchildren, Dylan Boling of Lubbock, Emily McNeece of Phoenix, Jared McNeece of Phoenix, Kelsey Bentley of Houston and Caleb Bentley of Houston; great-grandchild, Cooper Boling of Lubbock; siblings, Kinney and Barbara Glasson of Oklahoma City and Lisa Averett of Aspen, CO.; step-mother, Nona Glasson of Lubbock; step-siblings, Cathy and Joe Scott of Lubbock, Darlene and Nick Fuller of San Antonio, Leon and Donna Lindley of Kress, Nathan and Barbara Lindley of Mansfield.

Nora is preceded in death by her mother: Alene Webb, step-father: A.A. Webb, father: J.L. Glasson, son: Danny Bentley and sisters: Ann Aguilar and Jean Glasson.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Nora’s cats and faithful companions, Simba and Jethro; Nora’s friends and co-workers at Family Mobility; and to the Staff of Gentiva Hospice for their excellent care.
