Pammy Lea Reid

Pam married John Reid Ill November 17, 1984, in Arlington, TX.

After moving to Elkhart Indiana in 1990, she was a full-time homemaker and sitter for neighborhood children until her youngest son finished 6th grade. Then she was employed as a teacher's assistant until 2019 when she retired and moved to Lubbock, TX.

Pam is survived by her husband John; two sons, Donald Erickson and wife Adriana and grandson Jagger; and John Reid IV, Dottie Bristor, and grandchildren Corbin, Taylin, and Ariana Cantu.

She is also survived by her father, Don Hanson; two brothers, Rick Hanson and wife Susan; Terry Hanson and wife Diane; one sister, Penny Meyer and husband Randy; two foster brothers, Steve Jarchow and wife Lisa; Denny Shore and wife Teri Lynn; relatives; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Karen Hanson.

After retiring to Lubbock, a location she dearly loved, Pam spent her time reading and making greeting cards and Junk Journals.

A celebration of her Christian life will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Resthaven Funeral Home located at 5740 W 19th St. Lubbock, TX 79407.
