Pauline worked at Frenship ISD for 17 years as a custodian. After her retirement, she worked as a house cleaner for many years. She enjoyed tending to her plants and working in the yard. Pauline loved attending church, praying for others, and praising her Savior. She remained strong in her faith and was a blessing to all whom she encountered.
Pauline is survived by four daughters, Olga Ibarra (Rev. Domingo Ibarra, Jr.), Cruz Trevino, Rosemary Ibarra, and Terri Hernandez; eight grandchildren, Alan (Jennifer) Domingo,III (Nelly), Caleb, Hope, Samantha (Arsenio), Sara, Jacob, Andrea; thirteen great-grandchildren, Alan Jr. Josh, Amy, Melissa, Natalie, Alyssa, Elec, Emerie, Matthew, Samuel, Jonathan, Richard Lee III, and Ezekiel; one great-great grandchild, Zaccai; and one surviving sister, Cipriana Gonzales of Wolfforth.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Elec (Pancho) Hernandez and son-in-law Samuel Ibarra; her parents, Ignacio and Margarita Sanchez, three brothers and four sisters.
A Memorial service will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025 at 5 pm, at Restaven's Abbey Chapel in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at 10 am at Luz En La Comunidad, 4202 Ave J. (and 42nd Street), Lubbock, TX.
Serving as pallbearers are Caleb J. Ibarra, Richard Lee Flores, Elec Trevino, Matthew Garcia, Samuel Garcia and Alan Michael Ibarra.
