Although Priscilla’s love, loyalty, and dedication was always her family first and foremost, being a successful business woman in the home building industry was her second passion. She was dedicated to the homebuilding industry for over 30 years, was instrumental in opening up a division of Highland Homes in Austin, Texas, and worked there 14 years before retiring in 2008.
Priscilla was an amazing, loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend that will be terribly missed by the many family members and friends who were touched by her warm spirit, sense of humor, wise guidance, and caring nature.
Priscilla has physically left us, but her spirit will remain instilled in the love of her life of 35 years, James D. McIlroy, son Ron Madden and wife LaDon of Lubbock, TX, daughters Lisa Disotelle and husband Kevin of Wake Forest, NC, and Teresa Madden Weidhaas and husband Greg of Laguna Niguel, CA, stepdaughters Jill Bogaerts and husband John, and Jennifer Walker and husband Dave of Barrington, Il, brothers Walter Shaw of Austin, TX and Mark Shaw, of Tahiti, 5 nieces, 1 nephew and 13 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Monday, May 21st, and the celebration of Priscilla’s life will be 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 22nd, at Resthaven
Funeral Home & Cemetery, Lubbock, TX.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Priscilla’s name to Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
