Rachael was born July 8, 1929 in Selma, California to Preston and Jessie (Walling) Williston. She was later adopted by Duke Millard. Rachael graduated from Pomona College in Pomona, California. She married the love of her life Louis Pattillo on September 17, 1955. Rachael was a Physical Therapist for Methodist Hospital for over 30 years where she was the Assistant Director. She was an avid bridge player and belonged to many bridge clubs; she was also a member of the Lubbock Women’s Club. Rachael was a supporter of Meals on Wheels; she enjoyed sewing, and doing crafts. She and Louis loved to travel both domestic and internationally. Rachael had a passion for dogs. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Louis Pattillo. Left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Al Pattillo and wife Sheila; daughter Lori Jones and husband Eddie; half-brother, Duke Millard; half-sisters, Maryl Millard and Beverly Hiatt; grandchildren, Staci Jones, Missy Craver, Jacob Craver, Candace Byrd, Craig Byrd, and Beth Pattillo; great grandchildren, Madyson, Aryn, Braxten, and Cade
