She was born July 31,1944 in Laredo TX to Felix and Consuelo DeLeon. She had attended Texas Tech to become a LVN. Rachel was a homemaker and a loving, caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Rachel is survived by her husband, Michael; children, Joe David Castilleja, Ruben Martinez Jr., Aurelia Duke and PFC Isaac R. Martinez II; grandchildren, Jessie Castilleja, Johnathan Hollingsworth, Jenny Hollingsworth, R.J. Jett, Kristen Duke and Katie Robins; 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A visitation will be held Thursday January 24, in Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel from 6:00 to 9:00pm with a rosary at 7:00pm. A mass will be celebrated Friday January 25 at 10 am in St John Neumann Catholic Church.
