Raymond D. McDaniel

Raymond David MDaniel of Lubbock church services will be held at the Greenlawn Church of Christ Friday, February 28th, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. following interment at Resthaven Cemetery. Resthaven Funeral Home visitation is Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Raymond passed from this life on February 26, 2014. He was born May 14th, 1934 to W.T. and Lousie McDaniel. He graduated from Plainview High School in 1955. He was honorably discharged from the National Guard of Texas and the Army Reserve of the United States Armed Forces. He married Mickey Wynn February 1, 1958 in Plainview, Texas. He ran an irrigation well service with his dad. Then he moved to Lubbock and worked for the State Highway department 23 years until he retired. He was a deacon and active member of Greenlawn Church of Christ for several years. He was a loving husband, father and friend. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife. Survivors include two sons; Billy (Karla) McDaniel and Barry McDaniel of Lubbock; a grandson, Wesley McDaniel and a granddaughter, Sarah(Ryan) Brown of Lubbock. Memorial donations can be sent to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Association. Arrangements under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home & Cemetery, Lubbock, TX.
