He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Charles (Griff) Griffin Sr.; mother, Homer Lee (Rumsey) Griffin.
Survivors include his brother, Raymond Terry Griffin; sister-in-law, Barbara Griffin of Van Alstyne, TX; sister, Patricia (Trish) Davis; brother-in-law, Bob Davis of Hempstead, TX; two nieces, two nephews, several great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his beloved dogs, Lydia and Rebecca whom he dearly loved.
RC taught in Jal New Mexico School District many years before retiring. He taught at Seminole, TX and Roosevelt, TX. RC loved Racing at Lubbock Speedway, was a volunteer Fireman, worked with Colman Human Shelters, Master Gardening and helping other people in his communities.
