Services will be held on December 21, 2021 at 10:00am in Resthaven's Abbey Chapel.
Rick was born November 23, 1945 in Lubbock, Texas to William B. Parrack, Jr. and Sibyl (Mudgett) Parrack.
He graduated from Monterey High school and attended Texas Tech University.
As a young boy Rick was involved in scouting and earned the highest rank of Eagle Scout. He was also a talented pianist, playing only by ear and having no formal training.
Rick lived in Houston for many years and worked as a sales representative. in 2006 he opened Custom Shell Inc. in Lubbock and operated a successful pecan shelling business for many years until his health began declining.
Rick and his parents were avid Texas Tech Red Raider fans. He enjoyed playing backgammon and spending time on the computer.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his sister at heart, Elisa Mills and her husband Doug; Danielle Hawley, Eric Wells, Tabitha Edwards and 6 other nieces and nephews.
