Services for Robert (Bob) Lee Richmond, 74, of Lubbock, will be held on Friday May 2 ,2014 at 4P.M. at Oakwood Baptist Church with Pastor Marcus Murphy and Pastor Ron Cruddas Officiating. Family will receive friends at Resthaven Funeral Home from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday May 1, 2014.
He passed away on April 27, 2014 at Heritage Oaks.
He was born in Cincinnati, OH June 29, 1939.
He Married Druea (Dru) Wood in Dallas, TX on March 20, 1971.
He served in the Army from 1961 to 1964 and in the civil service from 1964 to 1968. From 1968 until retirement on March 31, 2014 worked as a computer ananlyst in both secular and government positions.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Anna Richmond, one sister Earnestine, and one brother Eugene. Survivors include his wife, 7 children, Steve, Jim Sr., Sue, Lois, Sharon, Robbin, and Lee. Plus 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
