Roy Eldon Matthews III left his family and friends on Oct. 28, 2012.
He leaves behind his parents Roy II and Misty; brother Tyler; Grandparents Corky and Janice Matthews, Nancy and Raymond Edge, Jack and Linda Fiztwater and Johnny Rosales; great grandmother Reba Matthews and Nina Rosales, as well as many cousins, aunts, and uncles.
He is preceded in death by his great grandparents Roy Matthews, Imogene Anderson, Janie Mandrell, Jose Rosales, and Chester McGee.
Roy III was an avid hunter and practical joker. Roy III had a beautiful smile and a kind hearted outlook on life. He will truly be missed. He was a member of South Plains Church of Christ.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM tonight. Services will be held at 1:30 PM Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at South Plains Church of Christ, with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
