Shaelynn Rae Welch

Shaelynn Rae was born March 24, 2013. She is the daughter of Michael and Tori Welch. Shaelynn attended Lil’ Haden’s Playhouse and Learning Center where she had many friends and loved being a big helper to her teachers. She was known not only as Shaelynn but had several nicknames. Her brother, Christian started calling her “Shae Shae”; her sister, Addison called her “Rah Rah”; and her Mama called her “Honey Bear.” The people that knew and loved her called her by one of her nicknames. Shae was such a nurturer. She loved without boundaries, took care of everyone, and would always ask if you were ok. She made sure there were never shoes left on the floor. If she thought you were cold she would cover you perfectly with a blanket. She would pat our back, scratch our arms, and remind us that she loved us. Shae would ask, “I’m your Honey Bear, right?” The response was always, “Oh yes, you’re our own Honey Bear.”Shae is survived by her Mama and Daddy; siblings, Cameron, Grayson, Madelynn, Kimberlynn, Christian, Carson, and her best friend and sister, Addison Welch all of Lubbock; grandparents, Wayne and Wanda Welch, Kathy Sisson, and Grampy and Grammy Gass all of Lubbock; eight aunts and uncles; and many cousins.Shaelynn is preceded in death by her brother, Haden Welch; and papa, David Sisson.“Sweet Honey Bear, you were not born under my heart.
