We invite you to view the live-streamed service on this page, sign his virtual guestbook, and download his memorial keepsake folder to your device for printing.Shane was born at Highland Hospital in Lubbock, TX on October 8, 1975, to mother- Debbie Boen, father – Tommy Smith, and Bonus Dad – Jim Boen.He is survived by his wife Susan of 8 years, two beautiful daughters: Skyler and Kaely; sister, Brittany Vaughn; her husband Zane and their two daughters Makenna and Reagan.  He is also survived by his 4 half-sisters, Mundy, Crystal, Destinee, and Blossom.Shane is proceeded in death by his cherished grandparents: Elwin Smith “Gramps”, Louise Smith “Weese”, and Alma Wimberly.Shane graduated from Monterey High School in May of 1994.  He served in the U.S. Navy from July 1996 to 2000 and was deployed on the USS John C. Stennis Carrier in Operation Enduring Freedom.Shane was employed by CenterPoint Energy in Houston since 2007.
