Steven M Lain, 63, passed away June 1, 2015 in Lubbock. He was born December 27, 1951 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma to John and Ruth Lain. Steven was raised in Oklahoma and later moved to Lubbock. Steven married Luane Lee July 2, 2011. He was a self-employed welder/fabricator.
He also worked for the Lubbock State Supported Living Center until his retirement in 2012. After retirement, he enjoyed yard work and gardening and loved spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Luane; children, John Lain of Idalou, Robert Lain and wife Halie, of Lubbock, Sarah Lane of Lubbock, Bethany Bittie and husband Jonathon of Lubbock and Brett Tyler of Lubbock; granddaughter, Bryleigh; brother Joe Bill Lain of Clearwater Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
