Taylor "Butch" Edward Leach Jr

Taylor was born in Lubbock, Texas on July 31, 1940 to Taylor Edward Leach Sr. and Martha Charlene McKibbins.

In 1962, Taylor married the love of his life Sandra Witherspoon, and soon to follow would be their four children.

Taylor was a loving husband and father devoted to his family and God. He was a faithful Christian serving as an RA Leader and Deacon in the Baptist Church. He enjoyed the outdoors and collecting Mickey Mouse and Texaco memorabilia. He had a strong work ethic as being a farmer, owner of multiple businesses, and serving in several supervisory roles.

He was preceded in death by his mother Shirley Hester, his brother Bob Sizemore, sisters Nellrose Hayslip and Christine Partain and grandson Jeremy Ayers.

Taylor entered Heaven leaving behind a family who loved him dearly. He is mourned by; wife, Sandra Leach; children, Vanessa Tritten (Leach) and Ronnie Tritten; Kevin and Jill Leach; Jerry and Mary Leach; Randy and Christine Leach; 11 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

A celebration of Taylor’s life will be held Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Bacon Heights Baptist Church of Lubbock, Tx.
