I was blessed to find Tom’s 2 Best friends - Buddy & Sadie. Buddy went ahead and I am certain greeted Tom on the Rainbow Bridge. I pray for Sadie I know she misses her guy.

  I sat with Tom and wrote details in a book I bought, I always came away with some stories I had never heard and was even more impressed with my Uncle Tommy. He was a brilliant man. He remember the most minute details.

I have listened to all of his voicemails, he never ends without a ‘love you.’

When I started my business he was one of my first customers! He said family had to support family. He was my cheerleader ! Always providing positive words. 

There is so much to say that was not said - I DO know that God said ‘Well done ‘ when Tom slid into home plate.

I miss you but I am so proud you are walking with the angels now. No pain. You deserve to be in heaven with all our family who have been waiting for you! I love you, dear brother. Until we meet again…

Tom loved his sweet dog, Sadie. She was his constant companion and slept by his side. ❤️

We talked at least once a day as sisters and brothers often do. And during Tom’s illness there wasn’t a day he failed to tell me he was getting better! His goal was to get back to the home he loved and be back to solving the recent computer problem. 
I’m sure he’s a tremendous help in 
heaven after he finishes each day’s trip
on the perfect motorcycle.

Tom was one of a kind. Hard work, honesty and integrity were part of Tom’s life, qualities instilled in him by his dad Henry. Always making things better, never settling for mediocre. He was the big brother and loved dearly by his sisters and brother. Proud to say he was my brother in law for 57 years.

It’s hard to find the right words to describe how wonderful my Uncle Tommy was. He was one of the kindest men that I have known. A forever cheerleader for me whether it was making a career change or navigating pivotal life changes. His words of wisdom and strong and grounded faith inspired me, and I know in my heart they will continue to do so.

I always admired his knowledge base and ability to figure out just about anything. From building computers to building a machine that literally swept the sand out of his yard, he had such a brilliant mind.

I loved listening to stories of Vietnam, racing go karts with Uncle Richard and so many other stories about Grandma and Granddad from his point of view. 

We shared our birthdays only being one day apart and separated by exactly 30 years, a love of dogs and Top Gun and a huge love of the mountains, especially Colorado. 

I am beyond grateful that I got to know him as well as I did in my adult life. He was definitely a blessing in my life. Our visits and our phone calls, especially the last two years, were very special and something I treasure. 

I miss him dearly already, but our memories and our connection will live on in my heart. 

 I know he is once again strong, standing upright and breathing with ease riding his motorcycle in the mountains of heaven. I know he is surrounded by all those that love him that have gone before-as grandma would say, the whole shebang! Rest easy and Fly high Uncle Tommy. I love you.

My brother was the kindest man I know. He served in Viet Nam where he did top secret communications by computer. When he returned home to his wife, Donna, they began their family in Lubbock, having 2 sons, Thomas Scott and Henry Heath. 

Tom stayed in electronics and worked as a manager at Texas Instruments until he opened his own computer business, CPR, which he owned until retirement. Well-liked by his friends and customers, as many small business owners have to do, Tom worked many long hours to take care of his customers in a fair, honest manner. 

A strong Christian, Tom started his day by reading the Bible, and loved to talk about what heaven would be, “so beautiful and wonderful, we as humans can’t even imagine! There’s not enough words to describe it!”

Our trips to see him never seemed long enough, so we tried to make up for that by talking on the phone for hours daily. These calls were important to both of us because Tom spent most nights and weekends alone as happens to many forgotten elderly. His niece, Shanda Colvin, came to see him often, and another niece, Ami Foster, made trips to Lubbock to check on him.  He thanked God each day for his sweet dog, Sadie. She was by his side when he passed from this world. 

I have no doubt he’s walking the streets of heaven now, standing straight and breathing well. Alone no more, all our loved ones are with him. It’s beautiful and he’s loving it! I love you, Tommy! I will be there…
