Vanda was born to Claude and Bea Lester on June 1, 1934 in McLean, Texas.
She passed from this earth on August 30. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter Lauri Gooch.
Vanda is survived by her husband Ronnie of 66 years and a son Royce (Valerie) Gooch of Amarillo, grandchildren Trichelle (Casey) Webb of Amarillo, Evan (Nicole) Gooch of Conroe, Texas and five great grandchildren.
