Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Resthaven’s Mausoleum Chapel.
Vera Lucille Johnson was born on June 12, 1923 in Ford, WA to Clifford and Mabel Clark. She retired at the age of 84 as an LVN after 46 years of service in Spokane, WA, Tulsa, Ok and Lubbock. She earned the title of LVN by putting herself through school, working full time and being a single parent.
She is survived by her son, Lyle Way and his wife Darlene of Ransom Canyon, two grandchildren; Brenda Riffle and Mark Way and seven great grandchildren, and one sister Verneva Bain. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
The family would like to offer their heartfelt thanks to the nursing staff at UMC for the care she was given, prayers that were said for our mother and Me Maw.
