On August 22, 2019, Veta “Faye” Lee passed from this life and is now at rest in the embracing arms of her Lord. She was born in March 1940 in Lubbock, TX, to William Franklin and Veta Edith Mills. In June 1958 she married Ernest G. Lee in Sand Springs, Texas, “Faye,” as she is known to her family and friends, was a homemaker and later in life earned her CNA, which she was very proud of. She was a member of Redbud Baptist Church.
“Faye” is survived by her husband, Ernie, Son and caregiver Wayne Lee, all of Lubbock, daughter Robin (Norman) Nash of NY, son Timothy (Deonne) Lee of Decatur, sister, Jane Benton and family of Lubbock, 6 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
